Mr. Paine began his financial services career on the Central Coast when he  founded LTC Insurance Marketing in Santa Maria, CA in 1986. His initial focus on the long term care insurance market provides a unique perspective on the needs of those in retirement.  Mr. Paine became securities licensed in 1992 and began Paine Financial  Services. Tom has earned the Series 6, 7, 22, 62, 63 & 65  registrations. Tom's focus is working with those near or in retirement as an Investment Advisor Representative with Centaurus Financial Inc.

Tom was born in Southern California and raised by parents who were PhD professors at Southern Illinois University (SIU). In 1981 he received his BA in Communications with minors in mathematics and English from SIU. Tom is married with 2 children and 3 grandchildren and lives in the Avila Valley (near San Luis Obispo). His hobbies and interests include golfing, swimming, tennis, soccer, and reading in economics, history, and politics along with a good mystery now and then. Mr. Paine also runs the CVSC - Ben Paine BSO Scholarship Fund that has provided financial assistance to 100s of local student athletes.
